Info about Spiroits and Valvitoxes



Spiroits:

What they are:
Spiroits are creatures that are half human, half animal spirit.

Appearance:
Spiroits look human in appearance, and humans cannot see their "Spirit limbs"
unless a Spiroit wants to be seen.

Abilities they have
Spiroits have the ability of what ever animal they are.
For example, If the animal is a sea creature like a fish, then it will have the ability to
breath underwater and swim fast. If the animal is something like a squirrel, then they
will have the ability to climb up most things and can jump higher and farther then humans. etc..

They also have the ability to make themselves invisible whenever they wish, but that's only if they're wearing their mask.

Where they exist:
Spiroits exist in an alternate universe where they co-exist with humans and all
other creatures that live on planet Earth.

What their purpose is:
A Spiroits purpose is to protect humans from corrupted spirits
called Valvitoxes (singular: Valvitox) (Species has not yet been created) (more information about them below)
Though some (Rebels) do not follow this and choose their own path.

How long their lifespan is:
Spiroits live for around 200-300 years.

The reason for the mask:
Spiroits are the result of a dead animals spirit seeking a body to live in.
The spirit isn't evil, it just doesn't realize that it's dead, and is trying to survive. This doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it can be dangerous to humans.
The spirit of the dead animal can only go into those who are weak, or newborns because
they are too weak to fight the spirit. Once the spirit is in the body, there is no way to get it out.
If the spirit is left alone in the body, and not dealt with, then it will consume the person and turn them
into a Valvitox. (more information about Valvitox can be found below) To avoid this happening they must be given a mask that will fuse with them and the spirit, and contain part of the spirit and keep them at bey so that it can't fully take over the person, but not fully disappear either, resulting in the "spirit limbs" and their spiritual powers.
If the mask breaks however. The spirit will be released and return to the host, completely taking it over and turning it into a Valvitox.
If the mask cracks, it can be fixed, but if it breaks completely then it can no longer be fixed.

The mask does not have to be worn, but it must be somewhere on the person at all times.
If the mask is not worn, then the Spiroit cannot see Valvitoxes, or use their powers.



Valvitoxes:


What they are: Valvatoxes are the result of an animals spirit absorbing itself into a weak human host and taking it over.
They are mindless creatures and extremely dangerous.

Appearance: Valvatoxes have two forms, Humanoid and animal. They can switch between forms at will. Their skin/fur is similar to slime and they are always a dark blue color with glowing white eyes and mouths.

Where they exist: They exist in an alternate universe on planet Earth where they are dangerous beings that pose a threat to Humans and Spiroits.

What their purpose is: Valvatoxes exist only to try and survive. They will suck the life force out of anything to
try and quench their never ending thirst for life energy.

How long their lifespan is: Valvatox live as long as they keep feeding.
They can only be killed by Spiroits or special weapons fused with spiritual energy.

They can be seen by humans on occasion,
but they are invisible to them for the most part. Spiroits however can see them whenever they are wearing their masks.

It is a Spiroits purpose and duty to hunt and destroy a Valvitox when ever they come across one.
